(no subject)
I wrote out a journal last night on my tablet but the system didn't want to connect the servers so I didn't get it posted.
The trip to SC went well. I got to play a game on the plane and we had a delicious mexican lunch. Once we got checked in I did some laundry while Allen got some work done and caught up with some family stuff. We had a nice soak in the hottub and a dinner in before bed. The bed here is much nicer than the one in Chicago, which was just too soft.
Allen is off at work now and I am going to catch up on some Admin things for the mentors program. Hopefully I can catch up a bit with the other admin and get a few emails off to the group before the day gets too far gone. I may get to grab some lunch with Allen but am considering taking a look around the local mall, maybe find some antique stores to browse. My foot was sore this morning, so I won't be on my feet too long. I want to make sure i can walk around during the ghost tour.
Overall the trip is going well. I have had a few moments of wondering what I was doing but only a few moments. Most of the time we are having a great time. I have to find a nice resturant for tonight and then tomorrow we are heading out to Charleston. On monday we are going to check out the local fun house with bumper cars and bowling and an arcade.
The car rental place only had a few options so we are driving a bright yellow corvette. We had to put luggage in the back seat on the way here, but the hotel in Greenville is able to hold on to our luggage until we get back, so we will have a bit more flexibility on our trip to Charleston.
