gay marriage...i have a question
How does gay/lesbian marriage negatively affect the people who are so opposed to it? All I have heard and seen is that it is because of religious beliefs that it is immoral or whatever. Is there another reason behind it all? Does it have to do with money somehow? I mean, because then companies would have to pay benefits to the persons partner just like any heterosexual couple? Im not trying to start a debate or anything. Im just curious because living in Texas I dont think the people here will ever get a fair chance and all I have heard seems to point towards religion.
