Thanks guys for filling it the address book out. I just needed to give a little push to get it going.
In other news, I'm beta testing the new Last.FM site/Powered by Audioscrobbler. It officially launches tomorrow (though the boys are in the UK somewhere, so it could be a few hours from now), but it's fun to poke around and see all the frame work for new features. The design, overall, is simple. I liked the underground nature of the previous design, very.. skin and bones, if you will. The new design has been fleshed out a little, and is now flexing it's professional muscles. My only major complaint is the bright pink they've chosen as a default skin color and the general kiddish accents like little star and [music] note icons. "Cutesy" is not a look I want for an music audio stat website. I guess it'll grow on me, but still.. I don't think I'll be obsessively checking my profile.
Features to "look forward" to: Journal (wtf am I going to use this for?), tag support (joining the ever popular internet-wide trend), an integrated site for both services (last.fm/AS--see quote below), album support, and new open source players for Mac/Linux/Windows and the site's radio public and personal radio stations.
[13:21 08/08/05] < Russ > we're going to launch a castrated audioscrobbler site.
[13:22 08/08/05] < Russ > which basically says that you should use last.fm because it rocks.
Overall, I'm looking forward to it. Ya'll should know by now, I'm an audioscrobbler junkie.
