God, this made me so nervous, too - lol - I was wondering how far you were going to take it, but also afraid it would end too soon! But you had just the right amount of tease, heartache and a touch of melancholy (of course).
JM (from your Archana's - love that use - perspective) was such a fabulous creature, how could you not crush out on her? So forthright and funny.

And you managed to keep Archie's own fabulousness intact, and still work in a kind of endearing cluelessness (What? What?) and insecurity that seems pretty real from here, and works so well in your story.

They are, they ARE so very fabulous, and this is why my TGW cast headcanon is that everybody is always crushing on one another and thinking about (if not actually) making out. This makes logical sense to me.

I love so many things about this it's ridiculous:
1) Archie and Matt. Oh GOD, Archie and Matt and how they're such good friends and how she likes the attention and how she's the only one playing. SHE'S THE ONLY ONE PLAYING, J - HE MEEEEEEEEANS IT. D: D: D:

2) Jules. She's just perfect. Calling Archie princess and winking at her on set and CHUCKING HER CHIN AFTER THE KISS OH MY GOD. That's my girl. IF IT WOULD BE ANYONE, IT WOULD BE ARCHIE!! OF COURSE IT WOULD BE.
Also, this: Julianna is talkative and straight-forward, and she speaks about her husband often. They are beautiful together, a couple meant to be photographed, but they are also just good -- Keith adores her, and she’s ( ... )

Yeah, I felt guilty throughout this whole freaking thing for poor Matt, who is obviously crushing his heart out the hardest in the background, and I should probably write something properly Matt/Archie in the future just to restore balance in the universe and be less of an asshole.
And I really DO think Jules has a happy marriage. I just ALSO think that when Archie Panjabi has a crush on you and is cuddling with you on the couch, you might get some IDEAS, okay? Ideas of the SEXY VARIETY.
As for Archie, I just can't... by the time I was done writing this I was in love with all three of them. Why doesn't anybody feel sorry for ME? Normal people get stupid inappropriate crushes too. *huffs*
In any case, I'm happy your day was made, and thank you for your various ways of being awesome.

I'm just allllllll GUH! And Archie is just too adorable and cute and you wanna tell her everything is gonna be alright cause nothing should go wrong for her!
And damn man, I just totally fell in love with Julianna Margulies for beside being Alicia! Gah! This is not good! What if I do something highly inappropriate if a once in a million zillion possible chance that I meet her?! If she wanted a PA I would totally run around all day doing things for her!

So glad you enjoyed this... it was fun experimenting (*ahem*) with the "characters" of JM and Archie, trying to flesh them out and make them more human, yanno? I just can't help but think there's probably SOME attraction that happens between people so SEXY!
