Gaaaaah, it hurts. But in all the right ways because... it rings so true to where they are now. To Alicia's pain and how it just intensifies Kalinda's anger (whether she recognizes it or not) towards herself.

This particularly She had made a mistake ever trusting Alicia - or anyone for that matter.
As the last ice cube was crushed mercilessly, Kalinda resolved to never feel that way again. To never feel, ever. got me. Not only for how raw Kalinda comes across but the way it calls back to her conversation with Will on the show.

Painfully good job with this! :)

Oh. Oh dear. The iciness. IT BURNS.

This time, she remained in control: of her legs -steady, of her arms -limp, of her face - blank, and of her emotions - gone.

That hurt most of all, I think. To see the moment Kalinda retreats back inside herself? It's just tragic. I hope, hope, hope she can't stay this cold and closed off for long.

Really nice job... thanks so much!

"Here is the thing: she betrayed me. She betrayed the tequilas and her secret smile, our conversations, the triumphs and the fails. But most of all she betrayed herself behind the silence. I hate her. And despite all of that you think i'm covering her up, Will? Do you really think i would put my job here at risk for her, after all this?"

Will stared at Alicia for a long time, at first somewhat angry, then just plain sad. "Yes"

Alicia closed her eyes, tired. "Yes".

Gah, so much feeling in the action of her closing her eyes... I can almost feel the 'yes'.

Thanks for tackling this :)
