(no subject)
IM FINALLY HOME!!
..for today at least. So last night around 1030-11 i got home from Pennsylvania. My basketball team had a tournament there and it was at Penn State. Penn State is amazinggggggg besides the fact that i hadda kinda walk a lot from gym to gym it was great (and that was only because my dad parked hte car like as far away as he could lol). But anyways i was there since Saturday morning and so ill tell you mainly what i did.
Saturday morning around 330 i got into the car with Alannah who slept over that night. We slept pretty for two hours, woke up and went back to sleep until two hours were left of the ride and that time we got breakfast at Burger King. I was stupid and thought i was starving so i ordered like ten thingss and i didnt eat like any of it. Then we got to our MOTEL6 and chilled for a while til we went out to lunch at "The Deli". I wasnt hungry so i had Jb and Alannahs side salad that came with their baby back ribs, the salad was tiny and horrible. haha. Then we went to this penn state store and i bought a pair of HOTTT shorts. Then we played a game at like 8 that night i think vs a pennsylvanian team ((WE WON)) by either 3-5. That night we went out to dinner at Olive Garden and didnt get home until late. During dinner we were entertained by Patty's dad, Phil. Normally Phil is a very funny guy and he couldve entertained us easily, but tonight he was drunk which just made it even funnier.
Sunday- woke up around 10 or 1030 and went to Breakfast with my daddy :-) he took me to The Deli which we went to lunch for, and we yeahhh so we ate our food then walked around a little and then went back to the hotel. I showered and then he left for the pool and i went downtown with brighid and morgan. We did a little shopping and i got a shirt from A+F. We also went to this cute place with all these pretty dresses whihc we tried on and it was a lot of fun. Then when we got home we got ready for our games at 6. We played another PA team at 6 ((AND WON OF COURSE)) by like 5 then played a team at 945 and ((BEAT THEIR ASSES)) it was sooo annoying because it was the longest game i had ever played and 1) we were up by a lot. 2)it was 1130 when we got outta the gym.
Monday- woke up around 730 and went to breakfast at Dennys with Sam Genn Tom and my Dad. We hadda game at 915 so we all wanted to eat early so we wouldnt get sick. Then we went to the Gym and watched the games going on and then played, we won but i forget by how much. Next we went over to the other gym and then played at 1 vs a good team and well we had some problems but i wont get into that. We were down by like 14 at half but came back to win it by 2. I fouled out with 5 minutes to go, and instead of 5 fouls you got 6 at this tournament. Soo yeah my dad was happy about that haha. Then i got back to the hotel, showered and got ready to go out.
That night we went to a place called CiCi's for dinner, it was an all you can eat thing for 4$ which John Courtney found for the team. It was pretty good. Then we chilled in the dollar store for a minute and then decided to go to the movies. When we got there we decided to see Rebound at 930 so we had a couple hours to do something else. Soo Maribeth invited me to go with her Brighid Iris Patty and Morgan downtown for some more shopping. I found a pair of sweat pants for 17$ and a pair of shorts 50% off so the night was good. Then i met up with Cass and got a ride with her Alannah Jb and Morgan back to the movies. Rebound was better than i thought it would be. Sam and Genn had seen Madagascar at 830 and then snuck into our movie. After ours got out we all hadda sit there waiting for my dad and tom (sams dad, our asst. coach) to get out of Cinderellaman. So we were there til about 1145-12 just waiting for them, then we hadda 15 min ride to the hotel.
Tuesday- woke up around 10ish and went to breakfast with my dad and tom (genn and sam were still sleeping so they didnt come). We just walked across the street to this place called the Waffle House and yeah it was soo good. I got a waffle covered in strawberrys and i couldnt even eat half of it it was so filling. So then Phil stopped by and sat with us, so we sat there for a while just chatting bout things. Actually i just pretty much sat there adn listened but yeah.
Then i went back to the motel and talked to my grandma mcclintock. It was the most uncomfortable thing i have ever done.. shes not doing good at all and well she couldnt exactly talk to me, i mean she did but it was this really weird hoarse voice like it was straining her to talk and so pretty much i jsut talked to her and told her about everything and how much i love and miss her and wished i coulda been there with her. Almost my whole family is there at the moment and soo it made me feel real bad that i wasnt with her.
After that i changed and then we went to the gym, but before we went inside we walked over to the Stadium and checked it out, we went through this self tour museum thing and then a guy took us to the stadium and i got to sit down there, it was HUGE. But my dad and tom seemed a lot more impressed than me lol. I was pretty bored. Then we went and played our game at 2 and won 53-26. Soo that made our team 6-0 in the tournament so we won our pool. After that we got our picture infront of the Joe Paturno? statue and then headed home. On the way back me and Alannah slept a lot and watched movies. A little while into the ride we stopped at Iron Skillet for lunch with Sam Genn and Tom. It was ok. Sooo that was my trip to PA.
Tomorrow i go to Boston for Baystate games with the WEST! Wish me luck, and please call my cell to keep me company.
