I just wanted to say DVF is totally suing Forever 21! Fuckers! They stole one of her prints/dresses, it is literally the EXACT SAME except it can be machine washed and is $32.80. ALL of her prints are copyrighted and I hate how F21 does that. This girl in one of my classes works there and says they even set up the store by "designer"- like all of the MJ stuff in one section, etc.
I was reading comments on one of the websites, and people were calling her greedy and basically saying it was ok to knock things off/buy fakes because all designers are "imitated" and its the sincerest form of flattery. This pisses me off for many, many reasons, but mostly because I don't think people understand they are insulting/not crediting HER creativity. ALl of her prints are from pictures she had taken herself in her travels, or something in nature she sees. She takes a picture with her camera (usually blows up the detail a lot), and sends them to a pattern maker who then turns them into a fabric. So yea, I think everyone knows my love for DVF and that annoys me.
