well, its diet time again. knowing that the goos are going to be touring is of course the biggest catalyst for getting the extra weight off but also the fact that I desperately want to take a vacation and don't want to travel fat is a big one ( Read more... )

Nope. The fat grams on the nutritional guide always talk me out of it. I freaking love Mystic pizza, all of them are good (ever try the bbq chicken one? Even that rules.) but i try and steer clear of them. Mystic is a trigger food for me. By trigger, i mean, when i'm trying to be good and eat well, and i got one of those in my freezer staring at me - when i finally break down and cook up the damn thing cuz i don't want to waste it, i feel like "oh well, i suck, there goes all my good efforts" and i slide back into 'eat whatever i want, who cares, why bother, gonna die fat and and alone anyway' mode. I don't understand how i can HATE and LOVE food the way i do.
I have such a twisted relationship with it. Pizza, (which i swear i could live on), KFC, and donuts. Those are 3 things that i really don't (like to) allow myself. I probably eat pizza more than the other 2. I might have 5 donuts a year, if that...cuz those really are thee worst things ever - there's not a shred of nutritional value to them so i can't justify eating them even a little bit...'least pizza can have veggies and fried chicken, albeit a stretch, is a protein! Still...ugh...
