My freshman year of highschool is now more than half way over. Yayyyy... Really, I don't hate it or anything (middle school was so much worse), but its not as wonderful as it seems before you get there. When I was little, I used to think that it sounded like the most awesome thing ever. I remember when I was in like 6th grade and my old best friend's sisters would be going and I'd always wish it were me. But it really is a lot better than last year, so I can't exactly complain.
Speaking of halfs (or is it halves?), winter is halfway over too. 6 weeks until SPRING! I can't wait. I love when it is nice out and sunny. And you can wear short sleeves and stuff. And of course that makes it closer to summer which is my favorite time of the year. This winter has been really weird though. It's been wicked nice out here and there. Weird. What's the point of Groundhog Day? Seriously, by now everyone knows that he'll always see his shadow (or is it vice-versa? I forget...) It is probably the most pointless holiday ever.
Today there isn't any school. I like that. But I have to work on my science project. Blah. @W@#+!@$#!@
The NY trip for band is going to be so much fun. I'm really excited. That almost makes my whole science fair hatred today go down a little bit. A little teeny bit. Yeah.
