am a multicultural woman
does that matter to you?
There is a reason why I asked, last night my mother had to quit a msn group because there was a racist joke posted on the board.
She had been wondering if she should approach the subject of race and I told her that if she hadn't mentioned it in the beginning why do it now?
Apparently with age comes wisdom.... She new that something was not right and that you have to warn biggots that you are watching so they won't so their true colors
( No Pun Intended)
So my question that I put to this board and to the world is...
Don't I get to participate with others in a fun activity without having to
"warn" people that I am not white?
Have we really made so little adavncement that we can't all share a space in nothingness ( the internet) without bringing up race?
If the answer is no we can not share this space, please tell me up front.
My mother's heart quietly broke a little the knowledge she couldn't joke with other women about keeping our homes clean and talking about a shared love for God.
For the women on that group are "supposed" Christians.
Please as many people respond. I need some answers.
