School.. again
So I am back at school now. It has been a really long time since I last updated, and I don't know if anyone still reads this thing, but here we go anyways...
Work was pretty good. I spent the first half of the work term at pontiac again. That went pretty well. Then after that, I went to Warren for two weeks. I worked with an awesome group there. Then I spent the last month at the Orion Assembly plant. It was pretty stressful for me because I had never worked in an assembly plant atmosphere before. I also wasn't used to not knowing at all what I was doing. I had no idea about any of the work they had me do, and that was frustrating. Eventually, I caught on and was ok.
Kenny recently graduated from Kettering. He is going to be starting his full time job at GM in 2 weeks. For these next 2 weeks, he is technically stil a co-op student. He got his own apartment a few weeks ago. I have been helping him with learning how to cook and clean, because I guess I am pretty good at that kind of stuff. My mom taught me everything. Anyways... I have basically been the wife at Kenny's apartment. When we are together over there, it is like we are married. We both cook, Kenny helps me clean up, we clean the house and do everything else you would do if you had your own house. I go shopping with him and help him pick out all the awesome stuff for the apartment. In a way, it kind of feels like it is my place too, except for the fact that I don't sleep there. It feels so awesome to be able to do all that stuff with him. It feels like I am on my way to being able to start my own life. I am gradually gaining my independence, and it is awesome.
I can't wait to be able to have my own house with my husband. I love being a wife.
