(no subject)
I haven't really written in this thing much lately. I have my occassional update. Today was my first day of summer clas up at UNCC, and I finally got to turn in my job application to Babies R Us by Concord Mills afterwards. Today was the only break I get from my class today, him letting us out after just an hour or maybe even just 45 min of lecture. The full time is 11:30-1:10, so it's not that bad, and he's a really nice/interesting/corny type of funny guy. I know a couple people in the class that are sorta familiar, so.........I guess that's good.
I love the freedom of having a car, but really nowhere to go and not much to do.
Tonight is my brother's Senior Awards night. Of course, my mom was the only one to come to mine, but it's not like I was getting any special awards/scholarships. My brother is getting some kind of drama/theatre award, and then we're gonna be able to leave afterwards (hopefully).
I got several things for my birthday including my own BUBBA KEG (AMBER GAVE ME MINE in Fushia!!) BUBBA KEG GALS! :) I can't wait til I move to UWalk in Aug....3 months to go!!
I'm watching Pirates of the Caribbean, one of the movies I got. I also got Monsters Inc, Remember The Tianis (replacement for mine that i coincidentally lost), same with Stepmom, and The OC Season 1, and One Tree Hill Season 1, Two Weeks Notice, lotsa movies to watch now :)Ones I've been meaning to get and thought heck, it's my bday I'll just ask for them now so I saev myself some money. I still have that $50 gift card to Best Buy but I wanna save it for something special you know?
Anyways, yesterday I came upon a revelation - I'm going to put aside my worries.....my stresses, and focus on what's important in life: class, getting a job, and not being depressed about anything in my past.
There's lots of movies on my digital cable, since I've had not much to do, that I've come across that I'd like to have a cop yof my own. And I got this DVD Recorder for Christmas, and I've been able to record movie son it, but since I've been home, I've tried to set it up so I can do that again, but nothing seems to beworking. I finally got tired of dealing with it and hooked up my other regular dvd player just soI can watch my movies and not deal with all the wires. Anyways, if anyone can help me, because I have an 80s Toshiba TV, a VCR, digital tv box, AND then this dvd recorder, and I'd like to somehow hook them all up together and so I dont have ot unhook one to use another, but I can't seem to figure it out alright. ANYONE CAN HELP< PLEASE CONTACT ME, it's frustrating. Plus when I have beenable to record programs on dvd, the dvd recorder will nver let me finalize any discs so I can watch them on other dvd players if I so happen to want to, I can only watch it on THAT ONE, ugggh I wish they had all these in their FAQs but of course they don't and the main people who manufactured it, won't get back to me, so this is something I'd love to figure all out, so if anyone CAN HELP lmk, I'm not smart enough I guess.
Anyways, off to finish the movie, for now I guess.
Ooh I ran 1.5 miles today, well ran, jogged, walked all that good stuff.
I'm gonna do some weights tonight --- I'm gonna start getting in shape as much and as fast as I can! :) I'm so motivated!
I just need a job now and I'll be all set with makin the dough...wish me luck!
