38 1/2 weeks
I am SO ready to have this baby! I've been dilated 3 - 3 1/2cm for the past week and a half. Doctor said it would be days, but still nothing. Last night I had horrible cramps, off and on Braxton Hicks contractions, and some sharp back pains. I kept waking up in the middle of the night convinced my water had broken. But almost 24 hours later and still nothing! I'm sooo achy and tired and just DONE. I've had a very good pregnancy, but I guess I'm just getting impatient since we thought she was coming a week ago. This waiting game sucks! I can't wait to hold my little one and see what she looks like. Hopefully it's truly any day now. :)
The nursery is pretty much done, so I thought I'd share some pictures (name spoilers for anyone who wanted to be surprised... but I'm sure it's not that big of a surprise):
Oh! I'm selling some of my old Buffy and Angel autographs on eBay (hubby has been getting laid off every Monday for the past five weeks and now that I'm on unpaid maternity leave, we are dying financially). I'm praying they sell. We need all we can get right now! I've even been joining paid survey companies, doing Amazon Mechanical Turk, and have become a KGB.com agent just to earn some extra cash. Sadly it's barely anything and can be time consuming, but hey, I guess it's an extra $20-$30/month we wouldn't have otherwise. Every penny counts.
Lastly... "Supernatural". Not a happy camper. I've been very disappointed with this season as a whole. Aside from a few episodes (The End was very good, I laughed hysterically at Channel Surfing, and the Dean/Jo stuff was EPIC and unexpected), the whole season has felt boring and lackluster. The fandom digs have gotten very tiring and unfunny (the convention episode was one of the worst everrrr), and the plot doesn't seem to be progressing much. Even last night's episode had me yawning. "PUDDING!!" was not funny; I was cringing. I feel like the writers are running out of ideas, especially for the stand alone episodes. I can't believe there might be a Season 6! Anyone else feeling a bit underwhelmed by this season? I have to be honest... I was actually more looking forward to the new "Bad Girls Club" on Tuesday than I was the new SPN episode. Sigh.
(And wow, LJ decides to schedule maintenance during the exact time I feel like posting in two months. Figures.)
