Time flies
Does Supernatural SERIOUSLY start up again next week? Where in the world did the summer go? Ahh, I can't wait to have my weekly shows back. Steve and I have been watching X-Files marathons for the past couple of months (currently in mid-season 4). Such a great show; I can't believe how long ago it was.
Very excited to gab about SPN again... I hope this season ends up being tremendously better than last. Season 4 certainly had its high points, but its low points are what I remember most. Ruby! Crappy Sam arc! Family Remains! No brotherly love! Ugh. Looking forward to seeing how they can redeem Sam this season, how the boys' relationship unfolds (re-folds?), and how Castiel fits into the mix. I'm relatively spoiler-free, aside from the fact that I know who plays Lucifer (WIN!) and some very cool casting tidbits. Especially...
Alona Tal! YAY JO! I'm gonna put money on it that her and Dean have little to no interaction. I'm not getting my hopes up. I'm just hoping they have at LEAST a good closure scene since I doubt she'll be showing up again. I miss their UST! (One of the few, I know...)
In regards to Baby, I go in for my 20-week ultrasound on September 14. That's 10 days way. IN 10 DAYS I WILL KNOW THE GENDER OF MY CHILD. *thud* I'm still praying (begging, pleading, wishing, etc.) that it's a girl but my gut says boy. Because things never go my way. Heh.
But obviously, this goes without saying, as long as the baby is healthy I'll be on cloud nine. I recently had my Quad Screen done (test of Down Syndrome, Spina Bifida, and a couple other defects) and the results came back negative. Hooray! Here's hoping the next 20 or so weeks go by smoothly. I just started to de-clutter, re-decorate, and clean the house. I've been hit with the nesting bug a bit early. There's still so much to do! I can't WAIT to get started on the nursery!
