Birthday!
I've been meaning to write a really sweet Happy Birthday Me entry, but i've been slacking. see i wanted to include tonnes of pictures taken with my brand spankin' new camera that Russell gave my for my birthday, but... thats so time consuming.
i had a pretty great birthday week im gonna say. Russell could not contain himself and after loads of teasing me the pressure got to him and he gave me presents early. the sweetheart spoils me, with Super Paper Mario (which is Wiitastic, sooo fun. i love it.) AND a digital Camera that apparently is pretty effin' decent, i would have been happy with a kiss, but being spoiled isnt soo bad either :). hes so good to me.
SaturDAY i had the day off, [told ya brithday week! holy smokes we are going back to the 14th here!] so i spend the morning layzing around, and then i went out shopping with Trudi, Cole and Hayden. just went to walmart, and i got some soap and other things, youknow the mandatory stuff. but it was good to spend some time with them :). and then Trudi got me a OMG SO FUCKING GOOD thing from Starbucks. ya ya i know starbucks spawns satan, but this was sooooo gooood. chocolate chip frappichino with a shot of mint - try one. better than sex. seriously.
Later my mom and sister stopped in and my sister gave me a homemade purse! pink of course, with some very cool and funky jewellery, and a TERRIBLE picture of me and her. seriously it is so bad, just wait till you come over and see it. i love it.
saturday Night Russell gave me the camera, the cutey, i took mostly bowser pictures. i am obessed with that cat. a bunch of friends came over / stopped by that night. Kevin and Darci, Dave and Jess, and Jen came over for drinking, opening cans with no can opener, a store trip, vodka in slushies and chips. it was great. Amber stopped in for a Dane Cook QUOTEOFF with Russell, and it was hilarious.
Dave and Jess and Andrew [who couldnt make it] also presented me with a colourfully wrapped present. inside was, THE LEGEND OF ZELDA TWIGHLIGHT PRINCESS PLAYER'S GUIDE COLLECTORS EDITION which is soo beautiful. it has a simple brown cover with the 'bird verison' of the triforce, [i have a t shirt with that logo] and its in gold. with GOLD pages, [someone referred to it as my bible. hahaha] its a very beautiful book, full of loads of information, and a cloth map with all the locations of hidden items! im gonna hang it on our Zelda Wall at home :).
Sunday is laundry day, we always go to Russell's parents for dinner and laundry. so we show up, and there is PINK balloons everywhere!! i loove pink. i love that Family :) the sweeties, they made me dinner, had the family over for celebration, made DEATH BY CHOCOLATE, which is sooooooooooooo good. oh my god. and they gave me lovely gifts too! Sally, the sweetheart gave me two tops from garage, some chocolate, and Alex gave me some candles that look just like chocolate! i thought they were at first, hahaa. plus they gave me a toolkit, cause out of me and russell, im the fixer, hahaha. Sally goes to bed semi early, so while we were finishing up our laundry she came and gave me a hug, and says to me "i love you krista". i love her, shes so awesome and loving, and always doing things for other people. she gets soo excited about little things, and she really gives with her whole heart. makes me smile on the inside and the outside.
Tuesday, i worked. woo hoo working on the birthday, everyone does it really. and it wasnt so bad. i was in a good mood. after work Sab called - she was home early! so she came with to go to Dinner! Sara, the sweetheart asked me to go out to dinner, so out to dinner we went! Jen, Sara, Nikki and Sabrina and me ate at Charlotte annes resturant, had some really good food, and then SURPRISE! STEFANEE SHOWED UP! haha i was sooo surprised to see her! Sara and Jen - the sweeties- gave me some really thoughtful can opening devices, and some yummy candy/chocolate. you guys know me so well. after some chatting at my place we went to meet Kayt and Greg, and go to McThirsty's for a MUFF DIVE, and ya, i got a shot glass stuck in my mouth. it happens. yupp, my mouth is that big.
Thank you girls, im really glad we went out for a really simple night with great company and delish food and drinks. i love you guys.
Saturday night, lets get our dance on and then go home early. [haha, or not, who cares! go home when we're tired. thats what i do anyways]
