Cook-Off
K, here's the scoop: The BBQ @ Metro is not going to be a BBQ @ Metro. Instead it's going to be a Cook-Off at Tony's on Saturday August 21st. I don't know how many people knew we talked about having a cook-off but for those of you that didn't we did and it's going to be fun. Everyone who wants to cook something will bring their own ingredients and we should probably let each other know who is going to make what. *I'm going to make my special (not "special") spaghetti.* Not everyone has to make something but everyone has to come:) (If Tony's mom isn't out of town Amanda said we could have the cookoff at her house instead) I also think it might be a good idea to get a keg for the day/night.
When the cook-off was originally discussed we talked about some form of judging. It would probably work best if everyone rated everyones dish separately and then we averaged the ratings. Bcuz everyone is cooking something different it would be hard to compare the dishes.
So far the only person that told me they would be out of town for that weekend is Magz. I know he will be missed but there isn't another weekend to do it before school starts back up. If a majority of people would rather it be Sunday then Saturday, just let me know and I'm sure that could be arranged.
