Hey...well since I've got a few minutes while my tea is brewing and had a really good weekend, I figured I'd update!

Well since my weekend pretty much starts Wednesday evening, I'll start there.

Apparently, NYU has their own record label and Deb who lives downstairs is on their compilation CD this year is on it and they held a release party at Sin-e on Wednesday night. Deb was awesome, she plays and sings her own songs and she has a really amazing voice! After party at Chumley's with Cari, Deb and Deb's friend...always good times!

I don't remember Thursday, honestly...so we'll leave it out :).....oh oh wait, that's when we went to Mags and I got hit on by the cupcake man who was taking "extra care" of my banana pudding...hahaha

Friday morning Seth made it up here in just over an hour...record time I must say...see people, I told you it was a fast trip! I showed him around the neighborhood...had some wonderful pizza stuff...(not really quite sure what it was, but it was good)for lunch then walked around campus and down through Hudson River Park to downtown and the financial center, then to SoHo and back...it was such a beautiful day for walking and there really isn't a better area to do it than here.

Friday night we went out to dinner at this place on 7th Ave...I forget the name, but it's right down the street from Caliente Cab and Sushi Samba (gotta love those alliterative names)...it was pretty good, drinks were good! After dinner we took a little stroll down to Magnolia for some dessert...too bad my cupcake man wasn't there :(...anyway, we came back to the room, intending to pre-game a little bit before heading over to Chumley's...annnnnnd I ended up passing out so, no Chumley's :( I am a lazy drunk.

Saturday morning we got up and had an awesome breakfast outside on Hudson Street...yet another beautiful day...we walked up 5th Ave to the Empire State Building and went to the top! Amazing! There's just something about being up so high that is really something...and it's so quiet up there...sometimes you need a little quiet. I was able to spot G-Ho from the top...thanks to the Archive, I didn't realize it was so big! Awesome experience to go to the top, everyone should do it...and you get to have a funny pic taken!

After the Empire State building, it was raining a bit so we walked back in a little drizzle but it wasn't bad...still warm...walked through Madison Square Park and up to Union Square and the markets for some apple cider mmmm....then back to my place, then it was time for Seth to leave :(...we had an awesome time!

Hmm so Saturday night I crashed and watched some movies.

Soooo Sunday! The most beautiful day ever! In my perfect world, the weather would be like it was Sunday everyday...bright sunshine, warm with a cool breeze...great! I ran a few errands in the morning, stopped in Washington Square Park to watch the guy that jumps over 4 standing people, which never seems to happen...but I did see him spin the other dude on his head...that was cool. Later on I read a little on the Hudson and walked pretty much the whole length of the park...it was beautiful...everyone was out and if you weren't out yesterday doing something...you really missed out!

Annnd now it's Monday again, and it's cloudy and it was raining...and I just napped for like 2 hours...blah...hopefully another good day and good weekend will happen soon!

Bye everyone!
