I can't believe I'm here! Okay, it was hard getting over the jet lag (which Aleka isn't over yet)....but even though we've been relaxing the past two days, it's been wonderful!! The food, all of which has been mediterranean, has been delicious, the weather is good (not too rainy), everyone I've met is really nice, and I'm in f*cking England!! I'm still in shock...
Here the adult age is 16, which is totally fun. That means I can legally buy all the stuff that everyone else has to wait until age 18-21 to buy....it's very freeing. Independence is wonderful....well, for me at least. My dad is flipping out having me being so far away for a couple days! I have no clue how he'll handle it when I go off to college. Forget about when I go....when Suz leaves he'll probably have a breakdown or something. But thank god that day is not now.
I love british accents. Not particularly an Irish or Scotish one, but a nice sophisticated british accent...it's just lovely to listen to. It's even better considering I've been listening to rough southern accents for two weeks.
Will and Grace is such a funny show! On Brit tv they repeat a lot of American tv shows, and right now I'm watching a 2 hour marathon. Jack makes me laugh constantly, and omg, I love Karen! Will & Grace and some good british chocolate....oh add a hot guy and some Sex & the City and I could die very happy!
