Post-graduation
As of over a week ago, I'm an alumni. Holy crap. I never thought the day would finally come, and five years after entering Carthage College I have now left it (alongside Alicia :) ). Matt still has two years left, and I'm going to miss him. At least it's only two or so hours away, so it's not a big deal...but it is a switch. He'll be getting plenty of care-packages and suprises from me, as well as letters and the like, so hopefully things will be good :) And also, hopefully I'll be able to join Ms. Alicia over at the Ren-Faire (maybe see "hot" half-naked tub man?) sometime this summer.
Right now, I don't have a place of employment, which is frustrating. I'm waiting to hear back from Meriter regarding their Program Support Assistant position. Hopefully I get it. I've also contacted the man in charge of Zvoda Productions. They do video-editing which is right up my alley as a Communications major. As of last Friday he was still looking for people. I gave him a call yesterday and haven't heard back yet. So I'll call again tomorrow. Also picked up applications at Barnes&Nobles, Bath&Body Works, and Lane Bryant. Here's hoping someone takes me in...cause I needs the monies!!
To my livejournal friends: Sorry about being lax with my comments. Things have been super hectic since graduation but hopefully they'll calm down enough where I can start commenting more. :-)
