History: A girl and her pikachu.
Personality: Yellow changed when she first met Red and, with his help, captured her first pokemon and friend: Ratty the Rattata. There and then, she was told that pokemon would always be her friends if she cared for them with a gentle and kind heart -- "As long as you understand that, you're on the right side!" His words were influential enough to remain with her always.
Yellow is one of the sweetest people you could ever meet; she's a pacifistic at heart, kind and gentle with a naïve deposition to boot. If a person is in trouble, she can't resist the want to help.
Because of childlike personality she has, Yellow can be easily underestimated, but there is more to Yellow than just the surface sweetness. While she may not be as powerful as Red or Green in battling, she is just as determined, if not more, and can think on her feet and formulate simple battle plans under stress. Although she doesn't lose her temper easily, it's a strange calm anger that makes her more determined than ever when she does.
More than anything, Yellow hates to hurt others - be it human or pokemon. But if she really has to fight, she will, all the while making sure as little harm is done as possible unless necessary.
Spending time with the other Pokedex Holders have certainly matured Yellow a little but, deep down, she's still a sweet little girl with a penchant for peace.
Strengths::
Physical: Yellow is good at fishing controlling a fishing rod. Part of this may be due to the fact that Yellow is the special child born in Viridian every ten years* and telekinesis allows her to move the pokeball attached to the end of the rod.
Mental: Yellow is smart; she can think under stress, coming up with simple strategies under attack. She shows this many times while battling Lance and once more, later, during the double battle with Silver against Team Rocket.
Emotional: Yellow doesn't get mad easily. She may be confused, scared or cautious - or even a combination of all three, but it takes a lot to make Yellow angry. (Lance and Sird; even then, she gets mad at Lance only towards the end of their confrontation.
* note: So far, as the special child of Viridian, Yellow has shown the following abilities:
• Read the mind, emotions and memories of pokemon.
• Limited telekinesis
• Healing, but only used on pokemon
• Synchronize her spirit with her pokemon and increase their strength when her emotions reach a fever pitch
Weaknesses:
Physical: Despite everything, Yellow is a girl with no training whatsoever physically until Blue and Blaine start to train her. She's small and flat enough to pass for a younger boy and has the ability to fall asleep anywhere (though most of it is due to the overuse of her powers).
Mental: Using her powers, be it her telekinesis or for reading/understanding/healing/empowering pokemon drains Yellow of energy, enough to be able to fall asleep anywhere. She is, however, easily awoken, unless too much energy is used up.
Emotional: Emotionally, Yellow can still be seen as a child compared to the other Dex Holders. As mentioned above, she's naïve and may be easily manipulated. A lot of her emotional support comes from her pokemon and friends, without them she does get very lonely.
