Lazy weekend
Since the weather this weekend was perfect (i.e. sunny and hot), it was spent doing absolutely nothing. My brother came up for the weekend, and we managed to get through the whole two days without yelling at each other. That is a feat in itself!
Spent all day yesterday at my uncle's cottage, swimming and sunbathing. My cousin and I did some tubing, where my brother and uncle tried their hardest to get us to fall off the tubes. Managed with my cousin, however, I refused to give them the satisfaction. I'm paying for it today, though... My shoulder is killing me! Managed not to feel it yesterday, seeing as I spent most of the day in the water.
Today, my brother, aunt and I played tourist down on the Halifax Waterfront. Took a tour on the Harbour Hopper and then wandered about Bishop's Landing, enjoying Beaver Tails (the pastry, not real beaver tails...) Then went up to the fish store on Quinpool, where my brother invested some money in a cleaner shrimp, a clown fish, some plant life and some live rock for his saltwater tank in Moncton.
He's now taken off, so I may spend the rest of my lazy weekend reading a book. It's still too hot to do anything else... But I am not complaining!
