(no subject)
I havent updated in a long time...its not that nothing has gone on in my life, its just I'm to lazy to update lol. Lets see...hmmm...where to start...well its the third week of classes and they're going good so far. This quarter class wise should be easy but since I'm on the newspaper its all hectic. Newspaper consumes so much of my time. I spend my saturdays at home just so I can write all my articles and turn them in before my deadline. I know this is good experience for me and its going to look awesome on my resume but its just like blah. I mean I absolutely love to write and its still my dream and what I'm going to do but its just my articles have no substance...i want to write articles about things happening in the world...across america...not fluffy articles....i love writing controversal things...like I did my senior year. I had so much more freedom writing for a HIGH SCHOOL NEWSPAPER!! even when i wasn't the editor I had more freedom. Oh well. I also have issues with my editor. She acts like I'm a threat to her. Which is crap! I'm a sophomore and she's a senior. Yeah we have the same major but for crying out loud this is a COLLEGE NEWSPAPER I'm not going to be cut-throat on this level (I'm just here to learn and get experience) especially when this is my first year on the paper. But however, if this was out in the real world and me and her paths cross trying to get ahead in journalism you better believe I will be cut throat because thats just how this business goes. But whatever I just have to deal with her until june then she graduates and hopefully I'll be editor. okay I'm done venting about that hahaha.
I get to see josh a little now which is always good:) Its hard when we dont get to see eachother all the time. If i had my way I'd see that boy everyday cause I love him to pieces! lol Speaking of my Josh, he moves into his apartment on friday. Well, him and his friend anthony move into their apartment on friday lol. I dont know how that living arrangement is going to work out though. I'm just praying it all works out. Anthony can get on Josh's nerves when they're not living together so I dont know how thats going to play out. I dont know guys are weird like that! I know if someone gets on my nerves and we dont live together there is no way I could live with them in a small place like an apartment. Oh well. I hope it works out because getting an apartment is a good thing for josh.
Well I'm not Katie's maid of honor anymore....or even her friend anymore for that matter. I'm just sick of it. I've known that girl for 14 years and she's going to pull some shit like this fine. She's missing out not me. I'm just happy I dont have to deal with it anymore:)
Me and Josh went to XFEST yesterday! which was an ABSOLUTE BLAST!!! I could have done without everyone smoking, the whif of weed here and there, and drunken people but it was a rock concert so you gotta deal with that shit. But my favorite was Papa Roach! They're so awesome! They rocked my world! And josh let me sit on his shoulders for part of their set and part of Seether's set. Seether rocked too!! It was thier last night on the tour so when they sang "Broken" one of the guys from one of the other bands dressed up like Amy Lee and pretended to sing lol....although I do wish it really was Amy Lee because you all know that would have totally rocked my world times a million! The other bands rocked too. It was hot though!!! and me and josh both got burnt! oh well one last sunburn of the year...and plus ill get even more tan! I'm so addicted to tanning its sad!
My throat is almost healed which is awesome cause its about damn time! For those of you that dont know I had emergency surgery to remove my tonsils and andenoids....yeah emergency surgery for that doesnt happen too often but do you really expect anything less from me? I always get those rare things! hahaha! Everyone told me I would feel soooooo much better once they're gone and wont get sick as much....so guess what i did? I got sick two weeks after I had surgery! haha! but it was only a cold that is still lingering with me. Well Ive got to go...I've got class at 11am and its 1020am....bye!:)
