Writing Sample for h_I_veterans
I don't have anything more recent when it comes to a thread style RP example then what was linked in my application. So here is a quick drabble/writing sample for you.
Ginny walked into the classroom and was overwhelmed by the size of it. It was a lecture hall that could easily fit about one hundred people. Definitely more people then any classroom at Hogwarts could fit. With a deep breath, Ginny walked up to the front of the classroom and chose a seat in the middle of the third row. She had always been one to sit in the front of a classroom, eager to see and hear everything the professor had to say.
She set her books down, got her parchment and quill ready for class, then took out a book. She was just getting into the story when a voice interrupted her. She looked up, startled to see a very hansom face looking down on her. Ginny blinked stupidly up at this unexpected male standing next to her seat. The guy smiled and repeated his question.
"Is this seat taken?"
Ginny blinked up at him again before mentally shaking herself to answer.
"No. Not at all."
He seemed to smile jut a bit wider as he set down his bag and slid into the seat next to her. He pulled his books out, set them on the desk and then turned to her. He held out his hand.
"I'm Mark."
Ginny accepted his hand and shook it.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Ginny."
She kept a hold on his hand after she finished speaking. After a few seconds she realized she had been holding onto his hand for a little too long and quickly took it back. She wiped her hands on the tops of her legs, now feeling very awkward and unsure of what to say next. She was sure she should say something. Perhaps something funny or witty but nothing came to mind. So instead she smiled slightly and turned back to her book.
