Think back to that single summer... that summer where u ran barefoot all day, where u crept into the house soaking wet from the sprinkler.. looking for popsicles. The summer where u took deep breaths, not for meditation, but becuz u were gasping from laughing so hard. The summer where u cared not about wut you looked like or were u were going in life, becuz u cared more about wut life around u looked like that second, and where u were right then. The summer where u didn’t think about tomorrow..u were too busy living today. Think back to that summer when ur bathing suit was ur uniform, one that u wore everywhere..swimming or not. The summer where u thought fireflies were fairies, and that rest time was for babies The summer where u believed anything could happen and it did. Remember back to that summer where ur main accessories were ur 3 best friends, ur hoola hoops, and ur too big sunglasses..instead of ur wallet, ur keys, and ur cell phone? Remember that? Do you miss that? Miss the fun... the laughing till it hurt, the imagination that ran wild... the taking chances, and caring only for living in the moment? Then bring it back!. It’s about realizing that who u r w/ is more important then whoever is on ur cell phone, and that sprinklers were made for ppl to run through, not to water the grass. Realizing it’s totally ok to have 3 best friends, and that hoola hoops still are more entertaining than any show on television. It’s about realizing that bathing suits are not torture devices, and shoes are not necessary. It’s about understanding that there are more important things in life than ur hairstyle, doing dishes, or the feeling that u should be doing something more productive. Living life is productive. Making a living is not the same as making a life. Make this summer the summer where u realize that life isn’t about the moments that u breathe, but the moments that take ur breath away. Do something everyday that reminds u of that summer lost. Just do it and get out, and live the summer that u were once smart enough to discover, and that was too memorable to forget. Make this summer unforgettable!!
