my birthday is coming up, and i've already made out like a bandit, as they say. my wonderful sister thoughtfully purchased both a hair dryer (1875 watts, bayBAY) and a curling iron with many attachments i don't (yet) know how to use. this was purchased for me in the hopes that i'd a) begin actually Styling my hair one of these days and b) feel pretty. so, thanks for that.
the booty from my parents was particularly exciting, because my mom bought me a bunch of small things, wrapped them individually, and put them in a box, which she then wrapped. the box included: three little sets of hoop earrings, several packages of hair ties, a really cute pale green sweater, two different-sized water bottles, a Serious Travel Mug (i think it may actually be stainless steel...woo hoo!), and the Best Present of Them All, a Detroit Pistons Lindsay Hunter #10 blue-and-red jersey. just in time for the playoffs. neat.
dave and i may use some of my birthday money and splurge at the chop house (albeit meals are half-off on birthdays). is it worth it? i've never been...
