Hey.
Currently watching the Yankees game, on a blah Sunday night, so here I come to update! One week. One week until I begin my life as a college student at Ithaca. I'm almost ready, a few more things to buy. Food. & the long process of packing. But, five members of the family are at band camp, so that should be nice. I've got many emotions going on right now too. I'm excited & anxious. But I'm also really sad & scared. This week is my last, spent saying goodbye to friends. Jeff leaves early Wednesday morning, I'm hoping to visit him at 5am to say goodbye. Noelle is home, with Sarah & Morgan, from Florida. I hope to spend time with everyone before we all leave. It's starting to sink in...
So. August.
Finished work. That was nice, still is. I visit for ice cream of course. Not much has happened though, college preparations mostly. DCI Quarterfinals at Regal with Sarah & CJ. That was awesome, as usual. God, I love drum corps. Sometimes I really miss the sport. Lots of hanging out with Rick, Candace, & Jeff. We love Adventure Landing, DDR, & mini-golf. :) It's been fun. Yesterday I bought my books for $250, versus the $500 the bookstore wanted. Score.
Tomorrow is brunch at Alicia's for us college-bound kids. Finishing up my shopping, & out for Chinese with Jeffrey. Tuesday is packing/cleaning. Wednesday, goodbyes for Jeffrey & out to band camp for the sunset, on-field rehearsal, & dance. Thursday to Saturday = finishing packing/cleaning.
As college begins, I'll be starting a new LJ. I think it'll be nice to start anew. Also, I'll be on a new screen name, same as my LJ name. & finally, I'll be deleting my myspace, & on facebook. SO, make sure you find me on facebook...
I'll update later this week with my new LJ/screen name info.
