I've been gone for a long time
WOW................
What a long time it's been since I was in reality!
I've been to Cornerstone and then straight to New York. It's been nuts!
Cornerstone was lots of fun. I think it would have been a million times better if I had been able to stay for Saturday which is when all of the good bands played, but oh well, at least I got to go and it was fun.
New York was freaking sweet. I do love that city, but boy does it have it's problems. I think that I missed two of the "go to New York City to see" things which was Central park and the Empire State Building, but I think we covered everything else. I ate Chinese food from China Town (surprised?) which was four billion times better then any stuff we have out here, and I also ate African food from and African restaurant in Harlem. If I learned anything for that experience it was that I am ridiculously white and can't endure spicy food. I hated it, that is everything but the coucous, which was surprisingly good. We also got to work with kids from a church camp in Brooklyn. It was an amazing experience, and it was just amazing to see how much the kids just wanted any love. Anything from holding hands to sitting on your lap to a smile, they just needed affection. They were so cute and definitely helped me more then I helped them. We also bought pron from a street stand... it's New York and when you're 18 and can do it, why not? Don't worry, I'm not corrupted (although some of you probably hoped I was...) it wasn't my idea, but Tim just wanted to prove to me that Cosmo was more dirty then half of the pron magazines. All in all it was an amazingly fun trip.

My graduation party is this Saturday the 16th starting at 6 and going until whenever. It's at Andrew Burris' house, so just drop me a note if you need any more info. PLEASE come!!!! I don't want to feel like a loser with no friends.
It's amazing to try and read up on everything that's been happening here and in Europe while I've been gone. I kind of give up... it's slightly impossible and my LJ wouldn't even hold all the entries of friends that I missed. Oh well, what are you going to do. I feel slightly distant from everyone at the moment, but I guess that is what happens when you're gone. Hope everyone's been having a blast! Let me know what you're up to!
