Vid Project Meme and a false start
With VividCon having, y'know, happened and then gone away, there's a huge amount of vids for me to go crazy over and download. And I have ordered the con DVDs. So that's almost like actually having gone, right? ...Right. I wanna go next year. Or the year after, if I still haven't gotten a life by then.
(Just kidding, I actually do have a life, I just sometimes get these urges to immerse myself in as much geekiness as humanly possible. And you've gotta admit, going to a convention for fan vids is almost the epitome of geeky. I mean this in the most loving, slightly envious way possible. ;D)
The vids I have ideas for/am currently working on:
QAF - Daphne set to "She Bop" by Cyndi Lauper
QAF - Emmett set to "Romeo" by the Basement Jaxx
QAF - Sam/Lindsay, Mel/Lindsay... "Have to Explode" by the Mountain Goats
ESotSM - "Trouble" by Cat Stevens
Saved! - vidded to anything, but may lean toward Bob Dylan.
The first two are in progress. The last three wait for source and additional inspiration.
Okay, so y'know those fanfic "false start" things? You post bits of story that never ended up going anywhere? Well, I've always wanted to do that meme, but all of my ficcish false starts actually, well, suck. So I got the bright idea of a VID false start! I am so clever. Someone has probably done this before. ;) I think it'd be really cool, though, if lots of people posted vid false starts. I get really interested in stuff like that.
Here is a vid that was kinda prettyish, but I got bored and frustrated and I'm probably not going to actually finish it, ever. It is Brian/Justin. Contains season 4 footage.
Right-click and save as for my VID FALSE START. Yay.

ETA: In case you actually noticed anything, I edited this post about ten dozen times, because I am too frikkin verbose when I am tired. After deleting a few paragraphs I now feel better about the world. ;)
