Insane Vidding Projects: called "insane" for a reason?
I'm out of school, at least momentarily, and am itching to vid! In an effort to experiment with new styles and substances, as well as break myself of my nasty habit of never finishing things, (and also because greensilver started one recently and it looked like fun), I'm setting out on an Insane Vidding Project. Anyone want to help me out with a vidlet request or two?
Now, I tried this once before and no dice, but I think it'll work this time. Not only do I have, er, all new untapped reserves of anti-procrastination power (cough), but I'm taking a page from previous books and limiting source to one episode or two-parter. The big thing that hung me up before was my irrational fear of clipping, you see. With one episode, however, I'm willing to do anything!
I'll take requests until I get overwhelmed -- so, between 5 to 10 or so, I'll let you know when I have enough -- and will do my best to finish all the requests before I leave the country. (Or before I start my senior year of college in August. Heh.) Ideally, I'll be making one vidlet per day and stopping at the stroke of midnight lateness to post whatever I've got... but there might be some times that I have to take breaks to work on other projects, and in those cases, the IVP will temporarily go on hold. Also, no guarantees that I'll tackle the vidlets in order -- and if there's a request that's really not working, I might have to ask you to pick something else. Aside from that looong list of disclaimers...
If you'd like a vidlet, what I need is:
1. A song. If you're able to provide an mp3, even better, otherwise ask if I have it.
2. A single episode or two-parter from one of the many, many fandoms listed below. (You might be able to make an argument for two separate episodes, just run the idea by me.)
3. A character, pairing, or other concept that you'd like me to focus on.
That's it! If you have several ideas that I can pick from, that's fine, too.
