Weekends are kind of my thing. Extended weekends. Saturday-Monday. It is when I usually hang out with my friends and we watch fun television and we freak out about it. It is fun. But when I am not hanging out at their place I am usually bored. Probably because my mom is always bored since those three days are her days off. So then I feel compelled to sit in the living room with her and do nothing. Like I don't just sit around doing nothing all week anyway. Okay I don't really do nothing, but nothing generally productive. I knit and read and watch tv shows online and play with my dog. So I really hope she gets this other job, because then we'll have money and she will have stuff to do. I think she got it. She just needs to hear back from them.
We were sitting around bored today and she gave me really great career advice.
Me: What should I be when I grow up?
Mom: A pickled potato.
Thanks, mom. That really helped me a lot.
Sooo, tv is awesome. Doctor Who? Yes, please! Loveitloveitloveit! Castle Finale tomorrow. It is going to be too much awesome, but also I am sure disappointing in some way or another. It is how they roll. But I love it. The Office is actually fairing very well even though Steve Carell is gone. As far as a new manager goes... I think Jim should be the new manager and then they can hire someone else for sales. Then it won't seem like they are trying to get someone in to be funny and crazy like Michael Scott. Past few episodes of Big Bang Theory have been off the charts funny as far as the show goes. Also I kind of don't really care about Leonard. He is just so blah. I could care less if he ends up with Penny in the end. Invite me to the darkside and I will be all Penny/Sheldon. Bring it. But Leonard? Leonard who? Who cares?
And I have that Lonely Goat Herd song form the Sound of Music stuck in my head. Awesome.
And last night I had a crazy dream in which the cast of Doctor Who made slightly snarky jokes about Benedict Cumberbatch. It was kind of hilarious!
