Consider My Hibernation Ended...
Wow, has it really been almost a year since I last posted?! I knew it had been a while, but I really had no idea it had been that long. I got fired from my job of seven years last September, and I've spent the month since then mostly stressing about money and bills and job-hunting. I've been working as a temp to pay the bills, and let me tell you, being a temp sucks out loud. It's all the work with none of the good stuff: benefits, paid time off, a normal salary, overtime opportunities, etc. But, I just got hired on to Wells Fargo, at a wage that's actually twenty cents higher than I was making when I was dismissed from American Republic. So, wheee! And, there's optional overtime available pretty much whenever, so I can work just a few extra hours a week and get caught up on all of my bills, since it'll be at time and a half.
Also, I'm sad to say, I've pretty much lost my Supernatural addiction. I haven't read any fic in over a year, and I haven't watched the show in months (they are all stored up on my DVR though; I haven't completely lost it). I just wanted to put that out there, since I have every intention of reviving my journal, but it won't be centered around the boys any more.
I'm going to go back now and post some noteworthy days from the last few months. I've been meaning to but haven't quite gotten around to it. But now, the bitch is back, ladies and gentlemen!
