(no subject)
After I wrote in here last, I definitely went through a crazy/confusing/anxious/homesick rough patch for a couple weeks, but I feel like life has been SO much better the past few weeks so that's good :) I love that it's fall and soon the Holidays will be here. I still miss home a bit, but I have been having so much fun here... Here are some highlights of life with Jessica lately:
-Dance party/Akers reunion at Chris and Riley's
-Football games/tailgating!!
-Flipping around Twistars with Ashley, Jessica, and Danielle
-Absolutely LOVING my job
-Cider Mill! (even though it was hailing and raining--we were still throwing apples at each other and went through the haunted house as usual lol good times)
-Midnight Madness/Grey's nights/parties with Jackie
-hanging out with my favorite person ever <3
-coffee trips with Steph
-visiting OU to see Lauren and Em
-MSU BEATING MICHIGAN!!!
Friday for Halloween I am really excited to dress as a pirate and Trick-or-Treat with Mike Lol. I haven't gone since my sophomore year of high school and i am pumped... Last year I dressed up and went to crazy Halloween parties the weekend before and after Halloween, so this year, I'm going the trick-or-treating route for sure :) We are really cool.. Love it.
Me and Jackie also decided to live together next year in a duplex close to campus. I am really excited about it! I really like my apartment now, but its too far from campus for sure.
On a random note- my job. Coaching team at Twistars is Amazing. I teach recreational classes too, but I mainly teach a team with my friend Ashley who I have known since we were 11. We are training the girls to compete in January. During the season, we will be traveling around on the weekends to about 7 meets between January and May all around Michigan. It's great because me and Ashley are completely in charge of a competitive gymnastics team. They are SO GOOD too. These girls work so hard and are going to kick ass during the season. I am so excited. Twistars is known as the biggest and best gym in the state too, so our girls will be the ones to beat :)
So, that, along with class and LOTS OF STUDYING (especially exercise physiology), is my life at the moment... Time to go to work!
