YAY!
i just got an interview for an internship with a consulting firm on monday =)
it's just an interview, but i'm super excited right now.
i've been super stressed about job stuff when i get home (i have bills, i'd love to ignore them though) and an internship is pretty key for what i want to be doing with my life.. anyway it's just cool to think i might have a real opportunity coming my way =)
also.. this is so totally a michele thing.. guess where the offices are. mmhmm. right behind downtown nordstroms. it has to be a sign (oh my god i am such a ditz)
other good news.. i get my jetta back today, and for about $100 less than i was quoted, which is SWEET! it still breaks me, but not as bad as i was expecting. i'll actually have money left to my name. i'm excited to go pick it up, even though only yesterday kev pointed out to me that my loaner car is in fact a 1.8t (turbo) and i have triptronic (i cant ever spell that right) transmission. so even though it's an auto i could've been driving it manually all along, which probably would've made it smoother. that brakes still blow however. shows how much attention i pay to things, right?
reasons my jetta is better:
1. it's a real manual transmission (ok triptonics don't count, really)
2. it has blacked out windows (i never realized how vulnerable i felt in non-tinted cars)
3. it has a fucking cd player. i mean seriously who has tapes anymore?! i could've even FIND any in my house! and we have a freaking record player (yes it really works)
anyway i'm super excited and i've already got a ton of things done today and now i'm going to go shower and pick up my car and then go to the bank to discuss my going abroad and the affect on my bank account this'll have. eeks.
oh my heck i'm starving.
