We got engaged! There you go Ashley thats my story haha =)I'm just kiddinggggg I will go into more detail then thattt...
I am so happy and excited! For a longgg time Matt has been hiding a secret from me and it always killed me not knowing. Of course little by little certain things made me piece ideas together but the way it all happend was amazing. He told me that it was close to two years ago that he has been hiding this. Our four year anniversary was the week of october 6th. So that weekend before the 6th we went away on a trip that he planned out secretly without me knowing what we were going to be doing. We started out Friday on October 1st. Matt woke me up around 645 am and told me to get in the car. He took me to the lake worth beach mainly for the purpose of the sunrise. It was a gorgeous day out. I remember it feeling pretty chilly and thinking how could it be so gorgeous out in wpb in the beginning of october. So we walked on the beach for a while and played around in the water. Then we were on our way back to my house where he was going to cook me breakfast. But we got a phone call from his sister asking if we could watch lucas who is now my godson. So I was really excited about that because I love him! So I played with him for a few hours and he fell asleep in my arms which i was lovingg..while matt cooked me a delicious breakfast. After that Matt had planed to take me to blowing rocks beach in jupiter and mccarther beach? (I think thats how you spell it). But because of how late it got after watching Lucas we weren't able to do that. We went out to lunch at this place called the Food Shack which was pretty good. He told me what to pack and we got in the car. After a couple hours in the car I realized we were in Orlando! We went to Downtown disney that night and walked around and ate at Earl of Sandwich, because he knows how much I love that place haha. We played with some legos lol..and then headed out because we were both exhausted. We tried to find Mochi but couldnt find it which was ok because it was past midnight at this point. Saturday morning we woke up around 5am! I was like whyyy on a non work day! haha but I had a feeling what we were going to be doing because there are very few things you get up that early for lol. We ended up driving to the comfort suites where I noticed a van th!t had hot air balloon advertisment on it. I was so excited! I didnt care anymore that it was still before 7am. I had been wanting to do this for the longest time. It was so much fun! We were on the balloon with another couple aswell as the piolet which was ok because I was too excited to care that there were other people with us. It was about an hr ride and it was just georgous! It was an experience I will never forget. After we landed they had shampane for us which was really cool. We ate breakfast and then I took a little nap at the hotel because I was so tired. But Matt wouldnt let me sleep any longer because he was telling me that we still had a long exciting day ahead of us. We got in the car and he suprised me as we pulled into islands of adventure! I couldnt believe it I was so excited! I loveeeeee that place. We had a blast there! After that we went to a restaurant for dinner called Mccormick and Smeiteiojwt something. I cant remember the name. It was realllyy nice but wayy to expensive. We split our meal which we did most of that weekend to save on money and I usually have leftovers anyway. But this place was ridicolous on thier prices. After that we went to Jeramiahs! I was so excited for that I love that place. After that we passed out and went to bed. Sunday morning we woke up and he wanted to drive to Juniper springs but we realized that we didnt have enough time for that because it was an hour and a half away from the hotel and would have made the drive home 2 to 3 hours longer and he had things planned back at home too. So we just drove home and ended up going to blowing rocks beach in jupiter. After that we ended up going to the lifeteen mass. That night he took me to the melting pot for dinner which was reallyyyyy good. Ive never been there before so it was a nice suprise. Then we just went to my house to relax. Monday was a very chill day...we went to a couple parks. One of the parks we went to we have our own "special spot" in...its kinda like a gizebo. He sat me down and gave me a really sweet letter he wrote me. Afterwards he suprised me with a oreo cheesecake that he made me and we decorated that together. We just relaxed the rest of the day which was nice because we were able to recover from all the walking we did at islands of adventure. That night we went to our favorite thai food place and he ended up taking me to the lake worth beach. He said that since we began the weekend on the beach he wanted to end it there. It was a gorgeous night...reallyy windy but still beautiful. He brought a bottle of our favorite dessert wine, miscato, and a candle that wouldnt light lol, and a blanket to sit on. It was really sweet. We took pictures together and reminiced about all the great times we had on that beach, espcially being that it was the same location that he asked me out four years ago. Then there came a point where he said we should get going but that he wanted to tell me part of the secret that hes been hiding from me but that I had to stand up. So I stood up and bent over to brush all the sand off my legs. I guess he thought I was taking too long so when I turned around to face him he was on one knee! haha I freaked out and started crying. He said some really sweet things about how he may not be perfect but he wants to strive to be that perfect man for me and make me happy for the rest of my life and then asked me to marry him. I just kept crying and he was looking at me like what does that mean yes no? haha..I cried for a while and of course said yes!=) I have never felt so lucky and excited in my life I am so happy! It was such an amazing weekend and amazing how he planned it all out.
That pretty much sums it up=) I have lottsss of pictures and will upload those soon! I hope that wasn't too long. Were still trying to pick a date but were pretty sure that itll be in 2012 due to finances and we are thinking it will be a good idea for him to finish his masters program before we get married. Oh and I do have to add in a short story, ill keep it short because I know this is long already lol. But about two years aogo he purchased a ring (not the one im wearing now). After he got it he decided to bring me in stores to see what I liked (me not knowing why or what was going on) and apparently I said i didnt like it or something to that effect. I found this all out the night he proposed lol. I felt terrible after he told me everything but I had no idea at that time! He panicked and had to try and figure out how to trade it in or do something with it. He ended up putting the diamond on a necklace. He gave me this necklace on a random occasion and I always wondered what it was for and why he gave it to me. Now it all makes sense. I told him he shouldnt have done that after he had purchased a ring lol. But he said he wanted to make sure he made the right decision. Menn.. lol. So from all the stores he took me in everytime we were in a mall..he ended up getting the one that I had said that I loved. Even though I lovee the ring, it's the wonderful amazing man that i'm getting married to that matters the most to me! =)
