ARGH!!!!
I am so angry right now. Got an email from the principal I interviewed with on Thursday. She said she went to check my file at the district office on Friday, and they couldn't find my supplemental app. This is a HUGE deal. All of the jobs I have applied for, interviewed for, and didn't get-- hello?! No wonder no one's hired me. Without that packet I'm technically ineligible to even contact principals and apply in that county. So whenever a principal checked my file and it wasn't there, I automatically lost out. At least this woman contacted me to let me know. So now I have to call the district office on Monday and totally bitch someone out. I sent all this in in early November. It didn't come back to me, so someone received it.
I have copies of some of it, but the confidential references were sealed so I don't have more of those. I'd have to start all over, harass teachers to get it done... Get the thing notarized again, etc. It would take at least a week just to send it all in. By then, the 3 jobs I'm interviewing for right now will be gone. (Yes, I'm currently interviewing for 3 2nd grade jobs... it gets kinda confusing lol). I'm just so frustrated.
I REALLY hope it was just misplaced or never entered or entered under like a bus driver or something. I DON'T want to have to do it over.
Oh, I'm also interviewing for a 1st/2nd/3rd Language Arts position, at a charter school. I'm still looking into that, I'm really unsure about the salary and benefits. But who knows.
Anyways, keep your fingers crossed that this was just a small mixup in the office and not that they never received anything. I will cry, and possibly punch someone. I need a job, and this stupidity is just standing in my way.
