Shhhh.
A sharp piercing scream ripped through the night and more shortly followed. There was no way to see their attack coming. In the blink of an eye I witnessed close friends and family being brutally murdered. Their attackers violently grabbing them and sinking their razor sharp teeth into their flesh, sucking the life away from them.
And then it dawned on me. “Mother!” Somewhere amongst all carnage and destruction was mother. My heart suddenly began to race and I frantically searched for her. By some sort of luck I was able to carefully snake my way around without becoming another victim. Death was all around me as lifeless eyes up at me; their faces still painted with fearful expressions.
“Mother!” I screamed not caring if it brought their attention to me anymore. I was determined to find her no matter what.
“Well, what do we have here?” a voice said behind me as I exited to main party room. Before I even looked at the speaker I could strongly smell the fresh scent of blood on their body. It was a sweet intoxicating smell that I had been trained to resist.
“Where is my mother” I demanded as I slowly turned to face the speaker. My effort to sound as if I wasn’t afraid was fruitless. It sinisterly smiled exposing those razor sharp teeth speckled with tiny bits of flesh and blood.
It was difficult to imagine that such a beautiful creature could be so cold and evil. Her thick, raven hair was loosely pulled into a pony tail, leaving pieces of her mane falling over the ivory skin on her face and shoulders. She carefully sized me up with her blank ocean blue eyes and licked her full ruby red lips. It was ready to feed again.
“Poor baby, can’t find your mother?” She mocked me and hissed. Hunting time.
My heart pumped even harder than before sending my blood racing through my veins as anger soon replaced fear. “If you know where my mother is TELL ME!”
She momentarily drew back due to her shock of my sudden burst of anger
