time goes on even if you don't
thought i'd take advantage of the fact that i'm one of the few people who have power to write; something i haven't thought to do in monthes.
spent the last couple days stringing lights in the backyard, hoping to have people over on saturday for leanne's return. it looks really good back there, especially when i add the little fire pit in the back to it.
spent some time actually thinking about the meaning of life. didn't come up with much more than maybe i spend all my time watching tv so that i don't actually have to live a life. or take risks. of course this way of thinking has made me semi-depressed, so maybe i should just stick to the tv, which humors me when no one else is around to.
seriously concidering just giving up on ever wanting a relationship. i mean if paige can't seem to make things work with sam, then i am definately a lost cause.
sheltered tim and greg for a night a couple weeks ago. it was the first time greg had ever been here. we repeated it last week. they stayed and talked til the wee hours of the morning then headed to tims to get drunk, but i loved their company anyway. and if you're wondering, it wasn't awkward at all.
i've been working fairly steady for the last month, making me miss the first month of summer vacation all together. i'm almost afraid i'll just work my summer away and not enjoy any of it with others.
wish i'd been more upbeat in this entry, but whatever, the rains got me worried for severe weather and i just want to have a clean house. enjoyed my off today, waking up late, shopping in the afternoon, and then more light stringing. wish i had more days like this.
tree fell in the neighbors backyard knocking out most of the power to my area, but alas, i was the lucky one. and i mean that literally. the lehigh side has no power, and the stanford side does. way to be smarter is all i can say.
anyway, i'm gonna get back to cleaning, then maybe order some chinese, although chinese is depressing without people to share it with. miss you ci, it was nice while it lasted.
