hey. i won't even begin to say that i know what it is like to be a mom or even a married mom, but there's a lot of truth and sincerity in what you say sweetdream. being a married mom is a full-time job. we're raised with this notion that the woman handles everything domestic. and when we think about the fact that we spend 40-85% of our lives at home that's a big responsibility for anyone! we also assume that every woman is supposed to be this perfect nurturer and completely selfless and giving for everything related to her family--people forget that a mother and a wife needs equal treatment. she deserves as much love and support as she gives.

but it sounds like you are doing just fine because your heart is in the right place sweetdream. all we can do is just our best. i think it's important to voice your feelings though, and it's great to see it on livejournal because others can identify and realize that they are strong and incredible women just like you.

don't be hard on yourself ok...i wish you'd take a "me" day at least once a month this year.

thanks. yeah, i'm starting to take a "me" day every so often. it's hard to let go, but it does help to get some space from being a mom and a wife and just hang out with the girls.
