Might not be something, but I've been through it

I can't really tell whether life is good or bad. Well, I shouldn't really say that or comment. I think that life is the hardest event that anyone can go through. Shit happens to you when you list expect it and good things never go your way. Is there someone that we can ask for some break ( Read more... )

hey sweetiedream...i hope everything is going ok for you right now. life is tough and youre right, everyone goes through stuff unexpectedly. you have the expectations of your family, society, and yourself to fulfill. you have to combat a daily existence that you may begin to ask yourself, "is this all my life is cracked up to be???" but i think what it comes down to is living the life that you have been given to the fullest. taking "lemons to make lemonade" as the saying goes. i am slowly learning this myself...and believe me, i'm the last one to give advice here because i struggle with the ups and downs A LOT! but i'm learning to treat myself kindly and to not be so rigid. i'm slowly learning that i have strengths as well as limitations. it's all about attitude too...if you believe things will get better then they will. if you are negative you dig a big hole for yourself and people will naturally run away from you rather than be sucked in. my advice: be good to yourself, learn to laugh at yourself, and remember that a year ( ... )

to me life is like a rollercoaster. you have your ups and your downs...sometimes more downhill than uphill. i think this is the buddhist way of thinking that for every negative there is a positive to balance things out [was that karma or ying and yang?]. i'm not christian nor am i a devout buddhist, but someone up there just keeps messing up with your life by throwing you curve balls just to see how strong you are. it is through our hardships that we rise and prevail and thus become a better person. damn, i sound like i'm preaching but we've all experience our own all time lows. sometimes it just feels like there's nothing else you'd want to do but wallow in your sorrow and just pout about how life is treating you like shit. have your moment to let your emotions out, think, and do whatever stress management technique but in the end, it's all about how you get yourself out of that rut.
