I wonder what everyone I went to high school with is doing. I dont really know everyone I went to high school with, but sometimes I wonder what everyone is doing. Every so often, I see people I went to elementary with and they're with kids. Just at my work place, my coworker went to McKinley. We were talking one day and thought each other ( Read more... )

this has happened a few times to me too...we say, "you look familiar, did you got mckinley" "oh yeah!" clicks are just a way of people fitting in. i think at high school age we are still "immature" and figuring out what we're about...so we stick to just one group. usually after highschool we realize that we are so many different things and have confidence to see ourselves and others differently. i think that kind of explains that phenomenon. i know i am definitely not the same person that i was in high school or intermediate...i like to think that i've "evolved" and am better...a little more tolerant, humble, open, and self-confident.

it's weird people always say "i wish i was in high school again!" not me. i'm glad that we've moved on...that's what life is!!! i wonder what we'll be live journaling about in 5 more years!

yeah, i really dont wish that i'm back in high school. i missed high school and i felt like i should've done things differently but i really wouldn't want to go back. i never really had really great memories of high school. it was just everyday life and spending more time with friends than anyone else. but as i matured, how realized that family is the most important people in our lives. i wish that i spent more time and thought of my family more when i was younger.

in five years....hmm. i think we'll probably be wondering where all our college friends are doing and how college is in five years. maybe we'll be talking about marriage more and how our kids are doing. maybe sharing preschool experiences, sharing birthing experiences, sharing maternity clothes and just talking about how our husbands are treating us. and how we're planning our weddings. probably. it's the next stage in life. expanding our own family.

i can't imagine myself in 5 years you know? it's like when i was in high school i couldn't imagine being graduated...in college i couldn't see myself outside of the university...and now here i am! heehee. you just never know what life will throw you. i like your vision for the next 5 years...i hope i can be as blessed as that...though the pregnancy thing is a little scary...i just know i'll be a butterball, waddling to and fro... ive realized as well how important family is...we're pretty lucky huh to have so many people who love us?~!

well, pregnancy is a very scary change in life style. and let me tell you, when ur pregnant, you dont feel the least attractive and start to believe that ur an elephant. it's not a very good feeling toward the end of the pregnancy. but once it's all over and your baby is staring at you, you're going to be glad to have a beautiful baby in front of u. birth is the most amazing event ever.
