A Month In Review
From the moment it was technically January, I knew things weren't going to be easy. Although the evening leading up to it was lovely, it was all downhill from there. My first night was one out of hell, but I was able to open up to one of my friends as I never had before. And by the time I finally was asleep, I had sighed relief. Though my troubles were not over, I knew things were not as worse as I would think.
I soon found myself sleeping with Kyle blissfully all day with some good lovin on the side. And on top of that, a new form of communication and understanding was established. Later that evening the memorable 10:33 PM celebration happened as my good friends and I welcomed a new new year.
These two events show the two extremes of my month and how so much can happen and change in such a short amount of time. To say the least, my month was bipolar. Here are some other highlights of the first month of 2005:
*Seeing the most amount of Sex and the City that I have ever seen
*Spending every other day with Laura F
*Beach house fun with Amy and Laura in the storm FROM HELL...scariest trip in the rain ever with the picnic game and wicked in the background
*My brother moving out of my home, which was more sad than anything...tis the end of an era
*Fun times with Alan, Laura, and Kyle
*Going to the dentist for the first time in nearly four years
*Buying plane tickets and planning for the Maui trip
*Amy thinking there was a fingerprint scanner in order to get into my apt complex
*Crying...a whole fucking lot...and the confusions that came with it
*Knowing everything will be ok
*Talking to my friends on the phone more than ever before...maybe I can adequately keep in touch with others now
*Moving back in at Chico with Kyle
*Finding out I get to wear lingerie in front of a lot of people next month
*New classes that I almost enjoy and almost sleep through
*Tuesdays and Thursdays kicking my ass and giving me a new meaning to full body soreness
*Lots of kisses, hehe, and lots of... other fun stuff
*Partying and David calling me more
*Having a good talk and late nite visit from Mark
*Shoot outs in the apartment complex!!!!!!!
* (added 02/02/05) The separation of Brad and Jen...if they do not make it, my ideals of love will be crushed and I will be heartbroken
For better or worse, it has been an interesting month that has definitely formed a certain disposition within me. I shall try to recover and embrace all the good that has come from it and learn from the rest. All I know is that I got my ass kicked this month and I'm fucking ready to collapse.
