my condolences to the turkey population of the world
so turkey day was like another.
a huge family feud
bloodshed in the kitchen
angery tears
nothing surprises me anymore.
but being able to talk to him in iraq on thanksgiving was something great and entirely unexpected.. it made me happier than ive been in a long time.
its makes me think you know.. as much as i complain about everything i go through.. maybe i am lucky after all. i have a thanksgiving dinner, a warm house to go home to afterwards, and in 30 days i will have a christmas. for others im afraid wont beable to simply say the same. and for that i am thankful.
