I received my tuition check from Macomb in the mail yesterday. They sent me $242 for books a week ago & $1,221 for classes yesterday. Actual amount I paid: $235 for books and $569 for tuition.
Let me break that down for those of you that aren't quite Mathematicians...
Macomb paid not only for my tuition in FULL, but GAVE ME an additional $659!!!!
I don't have to pay it back because it's a grant from the government, and NO they didn't make a mistake.
I like to refer to it as a "pity fund". They can have all the pity in the world for me as long as they're going to hand out free money for it!
