(no subject)
Tomorrow I hit 37 weeks. So, a month or so to go and baby will be here! We've decided (well 90% sure anyway) to name her Anika Dorothy. The flow still seems a little clunky and I'm trying to get used to the middle name, but it is growing on me. Anika is the name we would have used if Leif had been a girl and Dorothy is Rob's grandmother's name.
I've got just about everything ready in the house for her. Now I'm just trying to get the place clean. Saturday I shampooed the carpets, which turned out great... but left me feeling pretty stiff and uncomfortable. I've been beached on the couch since then but I think by tomorrow I'll be ready to tackle the next project. I'll just have to pace myself a little this time.
When I sit down to tie my shoes or use the bathroom I've been getting this random shooting pain in my right inner thigh - I think it's just a nerve that is pinched in that position. The same thing happened in the last two weeks or so with Mila. I mentioned it to my genius midwife yesterday to see what she thought and her response was "Oh. Well, that is weird. Any other questions for today?" Thanks for the info, lady! I've got an appointment next week to meet with a doula who sounds pretty promising based on our phone conversation. Hopefully that works out.
