impressions
So here I am in Chapel Hill. Once again I find myself at the end-of-summer nostalgia point where I look back on myself at this time last year and realize that I could never have predicted then that I would be here now. I'm a full-time stay at home mom living in North Carolina. WTF? Here's to keeping it unpredictable - it's a good way to live.
Things I have noticed:
1. There way more Asian people here than there were in Madison.
2. There are way more Buddhist dudes here than there were in Madison.
3. Lots of joggers, but none of them seem to be in shape.
4. The streets change names at random intersections. There is no apparent rhyme or reason to it. It makes it really hard to figure out where I am.
More later, I need to go get Rob from work to return the U-Haul trailer.
