...give it to a busy man.
that being said, don't give me anything else to do. i am currently in at least three bands, with recording duties in at least one other band, for a grand total of four projects that i am currently involved with. i like it. if i'm stuck being a musician the rest of my life (like i have a choice) then i'm going to make as much music as i can, with as many people as i can.
work on the other hand, has sucked lately. not because i dislike my job, but because i'm paid based on how busy it is, and it's just not busy enough. my job is such that sometimes i'll end up sitting in my car or some public forum in the middle of the day for up to an hour or so. but i guess on the bright side, i'm home early every day and have plenty of time to do the things i love.

the other plus side of this is that by the end of this week i'll have read two books in three weeks. that may not sound like much, but i'm a slow reader. the only book i've ever read in under two weeks was ender's game, which i read in two days. i'm currently reading "the three stigmata of palmer eldritch" by phillip k. dick. i finished "ubik" last week, which many people tout as his greatest work, and i thoroughly enjoyed. i'll let you know after i finish the fourth book in the volume, "do androids dream of electric sheep" famous for the movie adaptation, "blade runner". the first in the volume was "the man in the high castle" which i thought was ok, but not great.
my ten year high school reunion is this friday or saturday. i'm not sure which, cause i'm not going. i forgot to send in the thing, nor do i have the $80 they're asking for two tickets. i guess nothing's changed in 10 years. still broke, still not turning in my homework.
so, for those of you who haven't seen or talked to me in a while, that's my life these days.
