Drum Roll

Well, for the past couple of days, I have had the pleasure of visiting littlehooli at her house in Tom's River, NJ.  I was so excited.  Now, how often do u get to see ur craziest, most sexiest friends in the world? I thought to myself.  Needless to say, I was tickled to my toes to see her and the fam.

Once I saw her, it was over!  We had so much fun.  Her family is nuts!  Her mom and dad and littlehooli herself got into senseless squabble over a million things with each other as we ate lunch on the day of my arrival.  I was quite amused at the table.

I'm allergic to dogs and they have a dog, so I had already started taking Claritin from Saturday to get my body prepared.  My allergies have subsided over the years, and although I got a little sniffly at her house, which resulted in her and I sleeping at her grandparents' house, I was fine.  I didnt let that get me down!

On Monday, we went shopping at the Jackson Outlets in Jackson, NJ.  Whoo hoo! Boy, do we love shopping!!!!! We bought shoes, yummy edible syrups/sauces, clothing, etc.  We were so funny because we always went straight to the clearance sections of Gap and other pricey stores.  Sometimes, we would go in what looked like expensive stores, and after five seconds, hooli would nudge my sleeve and whisper to me, "Kanika, let's get out of here!"  Point taken.

Expensive stores=evil to hooli and I.  Debit cards+sales=make hooli and I happy.

When we were done with the outlets, we went to her grandparents house.  They are soooo adorable.  They're Italian, so I definitely felt the hospitality, vitality and constant showering of food there.  Her grandmom saw to my every need and was the sweetest.  Her grandpa did the same.  They're such a cute couple.  She made spaghetti, meatballs, sausage and some other food made out of steak.  It was delicious!

On Tuesday, we went to Rice's Flea Market in Pennsylvania.  Hooli and I got lost.  Ha.  Well, it's funny because she and I are about the two worst people to stick in a car when we need to follow directions.  Ha.  We missed a sign for a bridge to cross over to PA and we ended up going 15 miles deeper into NJ to a place called Kingwood.  We call it Mouth of the Void because we were driving through the sticks.  God knows where we would have ended up if The Void has swallowed us whole.  We bought earrings, bracelets, and bars of soap at the Flea Market.  Then we headed over to New Hope, PA and went through some odd shops. One gallery shop we entered was the gay owner's tribute to Gay America. Hooli and I headed to the back of the gallery to check out some more pics and then we gasped.  There were endless sensual pics of almost naked young men.   Why didnt he just close the shop up and take all the pics for himself?  Hmmm, who knows.  We were amused, but still, a little weirded out that he had so much of those "special" pics. Next, we went to Peddler's Village about 5 miles away. We went through a lot of shops but didnt buy anything because we didnt get much sleep the previous day, we were broke, and tired of shopping.

Those were the highlights of our time together.  I came back about five hours ago and I'm glad I came back earlier today than later today because when I got home, it had just started to snow and rain heavily. Not cool.

I had a blast with Ms. Hooli. Between the times of her passing gas like a maniac, peeing every other minute, and us getting lost, the joy was inexplicable.
