Drama even on Turkey Day, but alas, I shall live!
Well, this is especially for imprtinentscamp ( forgot to post my Thanksgiving plans before I got off the computer last night, dear). Well, my family was going to go over to my grandma's house because she wanted to cook, etc. and to see everyone. Well, a couple of days ago, grandma (my maternal grandma) called and said she wasnt going to have it at her house again. This might seem a little evil to say but I was kind of glad that she wasnt hosting because I didnt feel like going all the way to Long Island for some grub. After the phone call with my grandma, my mommy told me that everyone was doing their own thing for Turkey Day, which meant that it was like blah blah.
One of my aunts is pissed because no one called her to tell her their plans. Like WHAT THE BEEP! Last time we all checked, she had a phone too! She's bitching because no one is calling her to tell HER what the deal is???? Whatever! Quoting her, "I'm just going to be home and cook turkey and food for me and my daughter (my cousin)." Well, greetings from Kanika: HAVE A DANDY 'OL TIME WITH UR DAMN TURKEY! She actually called yesterday and started bitching to me. I wasted no time in telling her that she has a phone too and can contact people too! She was like, "No, I am the aunt, u are the niece, ur supposed to contact me." Yeah, and I screwed BIG BIRD last night. Anyway, I think my grandma will prolly just stay home or go to my other aunt's house, whose son, my cousin, just got out of jail. Yeah, I aint too keen on seeing him either. U see, our family isnt really that kind of lovey dovey close family where u sit around the table and share tales of laughter and giggle til ur belly busts. Everyone kind of does their own thing. Kind of weird figuring how me and my siblings are all extroverts and love to go out and do stuff! Overall, I aint sad because we'll get together for X-mas definitely, or those are the tentative plans. Soooo, for Turkey Day, I am going to my second mom's house cuz her fam wants me to come and they're going to have crazy amounts of food! Whoo hoo!
My mommy has to work today, so that's a little sad, but I told her I would bring her back some food. Man, I'm great!
