Awww...u guys are the sweetest. Thanx so much for making this birthday a special one, even though there was no liquor around:) The last two birthday made up for it anyway. Hehehehe. I really didnt go anywhere or do anything extraordinary. Mostly stayed home. Got calls from Julianne, who is a doll, and from others. Yay! Ran some errands for mom, and still talked on the phone throughout the rest of the day like an addict. Whoo hoo! Thank God for Verizon! I didnt expect this b-day to be big or anything, or to have a great party. I had my party in my own way.
Ok, so I called back the woman who e-mailed me about the creative assistant position for an advertising company. She said this job is for people with strong secretarial backgrounds, and I told her I was still willing to learn even though I had only had one summer's worth of experience in an office setting. If she wanted someone with strong secretarial background, why did she pull out my resume in the first place? Ding dong! She asked me what I was interested in and I told her. She said she had some editorial positions open, and she said she'll look over my resume and "get back to me." Ha, I wont be crossing my fingers or holding my breath. On to the next conquest. I actually got another interview offer via e-mail from a woman. Problem is: I dont know what position it's for. She said it was a part-time position and that u would have to be available at least three days out of the week. I think she was from craigslist, but she's so vague in the e-mail. I am going to call back and see what it's about. I wish they would be specific about the job. U know how many jobs I have applied to. I cant keep them straight! Grrr....I'm over it.
