Now, last, but certainly not least, Zoo Post #4
Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree...
This mass of fur is actually a tree kangaroo.
One lady was freaked out by the fact that these birds were just flying around loose in the exhibit. It was kinda funny.
I wasn't able to get pictures in the nocturnal exhibit, because I was a little paranoid that my flash would freak out all the bats and other night creatures.
Now, on to the Canadian wilds! Not many pictures here, as I was close to maxing out my memory card, and it was getting cold, and we're used to seeing most of these animals around anyway.
There were a pair of black bear orphans in this exhibit. I managed to get a picture of them playfighting together, but it turned out really blurry. ;.;
Ah, and one of our nation's proudest and most majestic animals!
I wish I'd gotten more pictures of the wolves. Oh well, I will the next time I go!
And lastly, the otter.
You would not BELIEVE how hard it was to get a halfway decent shot of the otter underwater. Hee, rhyme.
And that's it! Perhaps tomorrow I'll post the photos from Drumheller.
